What an amazing number of life-changing decisions we have seen so far this year! We’ve seen literally hundreds of children, students, and adults give their life to Christ for the first time or make decisions to recommit their lives to His service.

Are you someone who has made a recent decision but haven’t yet been baptized? Or maybe you were saved years ago but never followed up your decision with baptism?

Here’s a unique opportunity to follow up your salvation or re-commitment decision with believer’s baptism. Join us on Sunday, July 27th at 4:00, at Steve Peak’s lake for an old-fashioned baptism service! It’s not exactly “gathering at the river,” but it will be a memorable day to mark the most important decision you’ll ever make.

For those of you who have already signed up, here’s a reminder checklist:

  • Wear modest dark shirt and shorts
  • Wear old tennis shoes to protect your feet from the lake bottom
  • Bring a towel
  • Arrive no later than 3:30

When you arrive, go to the check-in table.

There is no seating, so anyone uncomfortable standing for an hour or so should bring a chair.

We will have a photographer to take pictures of you and your family and of your baptism.

Unless the weather is dangerous, we will baptize, rain or shine.

Directions from Long Hollow Hendersonville:

  1. Turn RIGHT out of the church parking lot, going northeast on Long Hollow Pk towards Gallatin. Go approx. 3.3 miles.
  2. Turn LEFT onto UPPER STATION CAMP CREEK RD (across from Douglas Chapel Methodist Church).
  3. Go approx. 1.4 mi to 541 UPPER STATION CAMP CRK RD. Driveway will be on the left with a John Deere Mailbox.
  4. Follow the driveway until it ends at the Peak’s house and lake – there will be signs and people to direct you to where to park.

Directions from Long Hollow Gallatin:

  1. Turn LEFT out of the church parking lot onto Hwy 25.
  2. Turn RIGHT at first light onto AIRPORT RD, which eventually turns into the bypass.
  3. Get off at the LONG HOLLOW PK EXIT and turn LEFT toward Hendersonville.
  4. Turn RIGHT onto UPPER STATION CAMP CREEK RD (across from Douglas Chapel Methodist Church).
  5. Go approx. 1.4 mi to 541 UPPER STATION CAMP CRK RD. Drive will be on the left with a John Deere Mailbox.
  6. Follow the driveway until it ends at the Peak’s house and lake – there will be signs and people to direct you to where to park.

Please drive very slowly and cautiously in the driveway, especially as you drive around the lake. The drive is bumpy, and it is narrow by the lake.
