To help establish some boundaries when watching TV and movies with your family, there are a few easy steps you can take to help block questionable content before it reaches your family.
Most TVs purchased since the late 90s have technology built in called the “V-Chip.” Using this tool, parents and spouses can set a pin code that will block all content of a certain type unless that code has been entered by a trusted individual. More information can be found here.
Also, check the manual that came with your DVD player or video game console; most have parental control functions built in to block the playing of DVDs by specific MPAA rating.
