Parents – Every week we plan to post a “take-home” plan that you can discuss with your children throughout the week. This week, we’re learning about selfishness vs service.

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that selfish things are not things they should seek. Instead, Jesus teaches that we should seek to serve other people.
Main Point: Jesus Teaches Me That I Should Not Be Selfish.
Bible Story: Rich Young Ruler (Mark 10:17; Luke 18:18-23); Two disciples asking Jesus to sit at His right and left (Mark 10:35); Jesus’ teaching on selfishness (Mark 10:42-45)
