In 2011, we will have about 400-orphaned children in residential care and about 750 in school, including a daily feeding program, in our two orphan villages in Haiti. Over 200 people from Long Hollow have been to Jeremie. There are already 16 mission trips planned to Haiti for 2011. We encourage you to join us in this life-changing work.

All trips are roughly $1000 plus airfare. See individual dates below (dates are subject to change).

Kids in Uganda

Uganda

Like in Haiti, we are privileged to be a part of building facilities and caring for orphaned children at two locations; Kyotera and Mbira. When complete, there will be about 250 kids in our care and about 500 in our schools there, which include a feeding program. Consider a short-term mission trip to be a part of ministering to these kids.

Extreme Missionary Adventures

Nicaragua

Partnering with Extreme Missionary Adventures, Long Hollow is able to bring the gospel to remote and unreached villages throughout the jungles of Nicaragua. Many of these people have never heard the name of Jesus. These trips are designed for men only and the primary focus is evangelism. Most trips, men will backpack to villages in Nicaragua that are isolated by rugged mountainous and jungle terrain. We are looking for men who are willing to go to extremes for the Lord, willing to give up some of their comforts and security for a little while so others can learn about our Savior.

From Our France Mission Trip

The "Sun and Fun" Kids Camp and the "Live Out Loud" Youth Camp mission trips will be July 7-13, 2012. Serve the Lord in a whole new world! Join us this summer in France where we will take our American/ LHBC spin on Kids and Youth Camps to France. You will help teach French kids American songs, games, drama, and Biblical truths and application.

Share the love of Christ with children and youth who know very little about a relationship with Jesus Christ. The people in this historic nation need Christ. Less than 2% of the French people are Christian. This will be the fourth summer for this camp, and it has grown each year. Begin praying now for the French children and youth. Join the French Camp team and make a difference in the life of a child for eternity.

New York City

New York City

Long Hollow senses God's call to start a church (maybe two) in New York City over the next five years. It is a crucial city in the eyes of the United States, as well as the world. It is strategically located and heavily populated. There are millions of lost people there with very few churches. We will be asking many to consider going on mission trips, and some to consider relocating there to be used by God in this important work. Dates and cost subject to change.

City Uprising - Inspired by Jeremiah 33:9, City Uprising seeks to propel the church and prosper the city. Through an intensive worship service and service experience, City Uprising hopes to unite God's people in New York City to bring about resolute commitment to the local church, raise awareness of the need to reach the world's major cities with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by building new churches and building a bridge into the heart of the city through love and service.

July 21-28, 2012 Canada - $1200. Leading a Wilderness VBS camp for the First Nations children from Native Indian Reserves. Most of these children (ages 5-18) come from drug addicted, alcoholic, and sexually abusive homes and this camp is the only time that they will have the opportunity to hear about Jesus. Long Hollow youth can be tent buddies with these children and show them the love of Jesus through VBS, Worship, hiking, swimming, sports, crafts, etc...
