From November 30 - December 17, come glide, spin, and skate on our synthetic ice rink in Legacy Park! It's the perfect place for families and friends to create lasting memories together. There’s no cost, and no registration required.

Legacy Park will be dressed up for Christmas and Legacy Coffee will be open and ready to make your favorite beverages. Whether you're gliding across the rink or cheering your friends on, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Limited space is available on the rink, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A waiver is required for each person skating. To expedite your time on the skating rink, please complete the waiver beforehand. A new waiver must be completed for each day.

Is there a cost to skate? No, it’s completely free!

Who can skate?

• This skating experience is recommended for ages 3 and up. Ice walkers are available for small children who need assistance.
• Skaters must be able to independently support themselves during the skating experience, with assistance from another member of their party if needed. (Children may not be carried on the skating surface.)
• Skate sizes: children’s 8 - adult 13. Everyone must wear skates.
• Those who experience balance issues or are at risk of falling should not skate.
• Everyone is required to complete a liability waiver before skating. Those under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. A new waiver must be completed for each day.
• Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the ice rink at all times.

Are reservations required? No reservations are required. All skating is walk-up and space will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For everyone to enjoy their time on the rink, we must limit the number of skaters on the rink.

When are you open? Monday - Saturday, we’re open from 2 - 8PM. On Sunday, we’re open from 11AM - 5PM. We will be closed for inclement weather and a few private events.

What can I do while my family and friends skate? Non-skating friends and family are welcome to watch skaters enjoy their time on the rink. Friends and family can also take advantage of all Legacy Park has to offer, including Christmas lights, free photo ops, and Legacy Coffee. Children age 11 and under may not be left unsupervised.

Is it real ice? This rink is made of a synthetic material, not ice. Most skaters will not notice a difference.

Can I bring my own skates? Unfortunately, no. Due to the nature of the synthetic rink, we are required to only use the skates provided. Sizes available are children’s 8 - adult 13.

Can I go on the skating rink without skates? Skates must be worn to enter the skating rink.

Do I need socks? Yes! Socks are not provided and are required to skate. Make sure to bring those with you!

Are there restrooms available? Yes, our restrooms in Legacy Coffee will be open during skating hours.

Are lockers available? Unfortunately, there are no lockers available. Shelves/cubbies will be available for storage. Not responsible for items left unattended. Bags/handheld items are not permitted on the skating rink.

Where is the skating rink located? The skating rink is located on the Legacy Park basketball courts at 3031 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN.

Will the skating rink be open in bad weather? The skating rink will be closed during inclement weather, such as rain, thunder, lightning, and snow.

Where should I park? Plenty of free parking is available on the west side of the campus, near Legacy Coffee and the church’s Main Entrance. You can find directions and a map of the campus here.

Will the rest of Legacy Park be open? Yes! Legacy Park is open and ready to enjoy with your family. However, the basketball/pickleball courts will be closed while the synthetic ice rink is in place. Legacy Coffee will also be open with snacks and drinks available for purchase during skating hours.
