Having previously interned for Long Hollow's summer camps, Josiah became a full-time member of Long Hollow's staff in August, 2011. Josiah is adamant about maximizing the opportunities he has to speak into young students' lives.
Josiah appreciates a good tuna sandwich, watching the Texas Rangers (from his home state), and getting to spend some time on the golf course. Jeremiah 29:11 reassures him that God has an amazing plan and purpose for His life.
Jeff Armstrong joined Long Hollow's staff in 2011 in order to help plan, grow, and launch the Springfield campus. Jeff is dedicated to building relationships in the community and getting people connected in a Bible-based environment where they can find Jesus.
With his roots in Texas, Jeff is a fan of the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, and the infamous Whataburger restaurant! One of his life scriptures is Ephesians 3:20, which encourages him that Christ is working in and through us.
Since September of 2011, Shannon Arthur has been helping visitors to feel welcome at Long Hollow. Shannon is passionate about equipping others to serve their local church and to see the life change that occurs on account of people feeling loved and welcomed.
One of Shannon's favorite snacks is hummus and pretzels! She enjoys listening to Third Day and cites Jeremiah 29:11 as a daily reminder that God's plans for her life are bigger and better than she could ever imagine.
In December of 2008, Long Hollow was happy to welcome Henry Bieber to our staff. Henry oversees the LifeWorks Counseling Center, the marriage/relationship ministry, the Celebrate Recovery ministry, and meets regularly with people to administer care and counseling.
Some of Henry's favorites include author C.S. Lewis, singer-songwriter Michael Card, the movie "The Kid", and a day of mountain biking. Philippians 2:3-11 is a favorite passage of his because it expresses the great depths of Christ's love for us.
Starting out as a summer intern, Andrew joined the youth ministry staff at Long Hollow in 2010. As a native of this area, Andrew is constantly building relationships and partnering with families to spread the Gospel.
Andrew is energetic, always moving, and fun to be around. In his free time he can be found building items for his home, painting, fixing cars, and exploring new places with his wife. His favorite burger is the one served at The Depot in Springfield.
With the addition of the new student building in 2012, as well as an ever-expanding outreach through ministry programs, Jeremy Brown joined Long Hollow's staff to help facilitate the various audio and production needs.
Jeremy enjoys spending time in the recording studio, going out to the lake with his wife, chasing his dogs through the backyard, cheering for the Titans, and vacationing to Disney. He is constantly reminded by Christ's sacrifice through Philippians 2.
With an annual budget well over 10 million dollars, Long Hollow is in constant need of someone to supervise all finanical activity. Since August of 2004, Janet Chambers has provided this leadership and professional standard of excellence.
At home, Janet enjoys spending time with her family, watching the Nashville Predators, and cites Rocky Road as her favorite ice cream. In her spiritual walk, Janet says that Phillipians 4:13 has always given her hope.
Derek Clayton has been on Long Hollow's staff since 2011. Derek makes sure that every church service, school event, banquet, wedding, funeral, or other gathering is supplemented with food coordination and event planning.
Derek is one of those guys that finds joy in keeping things organized: people, numbers, events, products, whatever it is! However, despite this orderly passion, Derek insists that God's plan for his life (as written Jeremiah 29:11) is vastly better than his!
Robyn Collins has been one of Long Hollow's children ministers since 2010. As an active writer, Robyn leads the way in creating custom curriculum, music, activities, and worship experiences for our children to meet and embrace Jesus Christ.
Robyn's entire family is full of artistry: taking pictures, drawing, writing, making music, and enjoying God's gift of creativity. In her personal walk, she finds freedom from worry and anxiety in the comfort of Philippians 4:6.
In June of 2003, Todd Cox joined Long Hollow's staff to assist with all the financial and facility needs of Long Hollow. Since then, he has transitioned to become the Men's Pastor and to oversee all of the on-campus small groups, bible studies, and other fellowship opportunities.
Some of Todd's favorites include the movie "King Arthur", author John Maxwell, watching sports of any kind, and rooting for the University of Kentucky. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds him that his path was leading to death, but God's path has proven faithful over and over.
With the launch of the Springfield campus in 2011, Brad Damas joined the Long Hollow team. His background in both music and student ministry has given him the necessary tools to maximize his outreach in Robertson County.
Brad is one of those guys that seems to be friends with everyone he meets. He really likes watching Duck Dynasty, he's a fan of the Washington Redskins (although he admits they're not very good), and he is challenged daily by the words of Matthew 16:25.
Not long after the opening of the Gallatin campus (in 2005), Bill Davis joined Long Hollow's team as the Gallatin campus pastor. Bill is someone who loves to connect with people, loves to shepherd a congregation, and see life change from preschool to senior age.
Bill is an avid sports fan, especially in his community. It's not uncommon to see him in the bleachers of a basketball game or on the sidelines of a softball field. He is also a big fan of butter-pecan ice cream from Baskin Robbins!
Nate Dooley is committed to seeing students changed by the Gospel. As the youth pastor at the Gallatin Campus, Nate is in a continuous mode of building relationships, speaking the Truth, and inviting others to a life of victory and hope.
Nate enjoys wrestling with the kids, spending time with his wife, watching "Storage Wars" on TV, or combining all of those activities into one! Nate lives his life by the wisdom of Psalm 19:14, which challenges him to direct every word and thought towards worshipping God.
In July of 2011, Sherry Dorris became the first Human Resources Specialist at Long Hollow. She provides a great deal of support to the entire Long Hollow staff while simultaneously ensuring that the church is maintaining legal and economic integrity.
A few of Sherry's favorite authors and artists include Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, and John Maxwell. When it comes to sports, Sherry enjoys watching the Lady Vols play. Her life scripture is Jeremiah 29:11.
Cara Dyba has been a part of gathering, organizing, consolidating, and distributing the various details of Long Hollow programming since 2011. She enables the various ministries to get their messages heard through as many mediums as there are available.
Much of the staff knows Cara for her excellent ability to bake delicious and visually-creative cakes. She also enjoys watching gymnastics during the Olympics, going to drive-in theaters, and getting to travel abroad with her husband.
Starting as a music intern in 2006, Jason has been on a constant pursuit to reveal and celebrate God's goodness in as many ways as possible. He now oversees the personnel and workflow of all music, video, and production at Long Hollow.
Jason is slightly obsessed with the idea of great storytelling. He regularly advocates This American Life (an NPR program) and enjoys books by Jonathan Safran Foer. In his spare time, Jason is an avid songwriter, hoping to weave God's story into melodies.
Jordan Easley joined Long Hollow's staff in late 2012 as the first Multi-site Development Pastor, bringing vision and strategy to reach more people throughout Middle Tennessee. In addition, Jordan is one of our primary speakers on Sunday morning.
Jordan is an avid hunter, Dallas Cowboys fan, golfer and enjoys some great Tex Mex. He is also the author of the book "Life Change", set to release in 2013.
At the end of 2007, Long Hollow welcomed long-time member Roger Elliott on to the Long Hollow staff. Every week of the year Roger can be found making a profound impact on individuals and families through counseling, charity, comfort, and other means of member care.
Roger often reads Bill Hybels and enjoys fishing in his spare time. He continually turns to Galatians 5:1 which says that Christ's resurrection has set us free from the shackles of the sin and bondage of this world.
In December of 2012, with the official launch of the Hillcrest campus, Hamilton Hardin joined the Long Hollow team. As both a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Hamilton is passionate about inviting people to celebrate Jesus and leave with a desire to know Him more.
For those who have heard him perform, it's no surprise that Hamilton is a serious student of jazz music. He also enjoys Italian food, reading John Piper, considers Billy Cosby one of his heroes, and is a dedicated Celtics fan.
Derek Hazelet has been serving on staff at Long Hollow since 2005. He oversees the various branches of adult ministry (Men's, Women's, Membership, Counseling, etc.) and is committed to seeing individuals live out the 5 Purposes of Long Hollow: Come, Connect, Grow, Serve, Go!
At home, Derek enjoys watching Football, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream, reading books by Hank Hanegraaff, and laughing with his family. When asked to summarize his life in one word, Derek replied, "Blessed."
Starting in 2007, Tyler Hirth has held a versatile role in Long Hollow's audio/visual development. Currently, Tyler oversees the recruitment and training of production volunteers, designs and oversees A/V technical installations, and technical directs a majority of weekends services and events.
One things that Tyler loves most about working at Long Hollow is the team he gets to work with. He's a regular listener of Coldplay, an Apple fan boy, and insists that Burger Up! Has an even better burger than Sax Deli.
Keeping accurate and honest records of our church's logistics is a priority with Long Hollow's integrity and transparency. Since 2012, Calvin has been a part of gathering weekly data, building reports, and keeping the church on track to maximize its impact in the world.
The thing that Calvin says he loves most about his job is that he gets to see how many people are being transformed by the Gospel. In his own life, he said that he was continually inspired by how much truth is in Isaiah 40:8 in so few words.
Erica Ho is part of Long Hollow's Missions team. Since 2010, she has been a pivotal part of Long Hollow's adoption program, orphan care initiative, and coordinating the various orphan mission trips for our church.
Erica has always loved the Chronicles of Narnia (and other C.S. Lewis classics), chasing around her three children at home, and being spontaneous! With the prompting of Acts 1:8, she is dedicated to helping others take that step of faith to go on mission for God.
Although originally a production intern, Daniel Hobbs became the graphic specialist at Long Hollow in 2011. Whether designing or coordinating a graphic workflow, Daniel is often the creative force behind visuals for sermon series, event promotions, and mailers.
Despite that Daniel spends most of his workday indoors at a computer, he is an avid outdoorsmen. He enjoys hiking, building, four-wheeling, and getting to explore. One of his favorite verses to declare over his life Philippians 1:21.
In 2011, Dan became a part of the facilities team at Long Hollow. Much like the rest of the team, Dan's daily tasks are in constant flux: one day painting, one day plumbing, one day electrician, one day carpenter, one day mechanic.
As much as he is able, Dan loves taking mission trips (especially Haiti) where he can use his gifts and creativity in different environments. He's also a big fan of working on cars, listening to Prairie Home Companion, and watching the Titans play.
Long Hollow's ability to function is fueled by the generous service of our many volunteers. As such, Amanda holds a vital role in recruiting, placing, equipping, and encouraging the various volunteer teams. Seeing the impact that a volunteer makes on someone's life is exciting to her!
Amanda is a Florida Gators fan and really enjoys "pralines 'n cream" ice cream! The call to care for orphans found in James 1:27 is near and dear to Amanda's heart and to her whole family.
Since 2003, Mike Hurst has been actively leading Long Hollow's congregation to the throne of Jesus. Mike is not only a worship leader, but a leader of leaders; he uses his musical gifts in order to equip and build up the next generation of Godly musicians.

Since 2010, Robert has served in the Pastor's office as a research specialist. Although the pastor himself is quite organized, Robert helps to maximize David's ministry potential by searching resources, building visuals, facilitating speaking engagements, and much more.
Robert says that the best part of his job is getting to see all that goes into a service which could ultimately change someone's life and eternity. He and his wife, Ruth Ann, have two daughters.
While attending a Long Hollow camp in 8th grade, Clint felt that Lord was calling him to be a worship leader. Since then, Clint has grown to be one of Long Hollow's primary creative forces in ministry: leading worship, producing videos, designing graphics, and much more.
Clint is the kind of guy that people don't easily forget: whether it's acting in funny videos, creating spontaneous conversation with everyone he meets, or playing music, Clint has a unique gift for making friends and inspiring crowds.
Since October of 1997, David has served as the Senior Pastor at Long Hollow. In addition to his dynamic Bible-based preaching, David continues to provide vision and initiative to the staff and congregation on how to reach the entire world with the Gospel.
David loves spending time with his family, enjoys catfish, and is a huge fan of the Tennessee Vols. One of his favorite scriptures is "Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD Himself, is the Rock eternal" (Isaiah 26:4).
Jeff joined Long Hollow's staff in 2005, originally providing audio support for the Sunday morning services. As time went on, Jeff has helped designed sound systems for every Long Hollow venue, installed systems in Haiti, and provided leadership with our production teams.
Those who know Jeff well know that he is nearly an expert on Disney (particularly their theme parks). One of his favorite scriptures is Galatians 2:20, reminding him that Christ lives within all those who trust in Him.
Having originally joined Long Hollow's staff as an administrative assistant, Jennifer Lorance is now a minister to thousands on women in our community. Whether counseling a young girl in her office or visiting the elderly in the hospital, Jennifer is living out Christ's love in the day to day.

Originally the Youth Pastor at Long Hollow, Jeff now oversees the ministries for infants through college age.
Since 2009, Brian Mills has led our student ministry at all campuses to reach our community and win souls to Christ.
Since being at Long Hollow, he has watched the student ministry grow, seen many students saved and baptized yearly. He has also authored his first book "Checkpoints: A Tactical Guide to Manhood" designed for guys.
In 2008, Chad joined Long Hollow's staff as a children's minister. Since then he has transitioned into a role where he coordinates Long Hollow's numerous events, volunteers, and various other details for all ministries.

In the spring of 2009, David Morrow joined Long Hollow's staff as the Preschool Pastor. With hundreds upon hundreds of infants and young children at Long Hollow every week, David is critical to providing a safe, fun, and Christ-honoring environment for our youngest.
David is a fan of films like Hunt for Red October, likes to go fishing, and enjoys a slice of great pizza. He's encouraged by 1 Peter 5:7 because it tells him that God is in control.
A staff member since 2007, Eric currently serves as our Communication Manager. Beyond leading our web, print and marketing efforts, Eric leads our team to communicate Long Hollow's message and vision to the community.
Eric's lively personality combines all the favorable aspects of being a nerd, entrepreneur, and family man. On a deeper level, Eric celebrates the truth of 1 Corinthians 15:54-55, that Christ has destroyed death in every sense for those who trust in Him.
Tony Pasley makes sure that Long Hollow - with multiple buildings, hundreds of events each year, and various maintenance/cleaning staff - is always a safe, clean, and fiscally-responsible environment. He has been on staff since 2010.
Tony is someone who likes to see others succeed, using his engineering background to build those possibilities. One of his favorite verses is Proverbs 9:10, which reminds him that true wisdom comes from the Lord.
Nick Person became a part of Long Hollow's student ministry in 2012. In addition to supporting the whole student ministry outreach, Nick specifically focuses on meeting, inspiring, and encouraging the High School students in our area.
Nick enjoys listening to musical artists like Dave Barnes and Marc Broussard. And for those know him well, they know that Nick likes to get loud sometimes - especially when it comes to Jesus! Nick says that Colossians 1:15-20 is all he needs to get amped up!
Ben Reed joined Long Hollow's staff in September of 2012, assuming the role of Small Groups Pastor. Ben's goal is to organize, equip, and motivate our congregation to deepen their relationship with Christ by connecting with other people in community.
When he's in the car, Ben likes listening to Mumford & Sons, as well as All Sons & Daughters. He's one of our staff's many coffee connoisseurs and enjoys reading JRR Tolkien. His favorite hobby is playing golf.
Jordan began leading music at the Hendersonville campus in 2009 (as a volunteer!) and officially joined the staff in 2011.
He's been a part of leading the adults, the students, new satellite campuses, church plants, and various other ministries and events at Long Hollow.
Shane Sisk is currently one of the High School Pastors at Long Hollow, specifically ministering to students in 9th and 10th grade. Having joined the staff in Fall of 2008, Shane is passionate about seeing students understand the heart of the Gospel and experience spiritual growth.
One of Shane's foremost attributes is his ability to encourage those around him. He loves spending time playing with kids and is a fan of the Florida Gators. Romans 8 continues to remind him of God's love and victory in his life.
In the fall of 2003 John Steen became the Middle School Pastor at Long Hollow. Put simply, John loves to spend time with students having fun and telling them that God loves them.
As with all our ministers, John prefers to spend as much time as he can with his family. However, unlike our other ministers, John is an Auburn football fan! In addition, his favorite place to go grab a burger is at 5 Guys.
Adam Stroube oversees a variety of details for student events, facilities, schedules, and other logistics. He is also responsible for Long Hollow's sports ministry. Adam joined Long Hollow's staff in early 2010.
Adam is one of the many staff who insists that Sax Deli has the best burger in Hendersonville. One of his favorite scriptures is 1 Peter 4:10 which stresses that God has equipped us all for His glory.
In 1998, Lance Taylor joined Long Hollow's staff as the new youth minister. Now, as the executive pastor, Lance oversees staff coordination, church strategy development, and campus development.
One of things that Lance enjoys most in his job is being able to help other staff members discern and pursue God's will for them and their ministry. Lance's life verse has always been Romans 4:20-21, which continues to inspire him.
Sherrie Thomas has been working at Long Hollow since 1998, providing the much-needed care for our preschool children. One of her favorite things to do is simply to love, encourage, and talk about Jesus to the preschool children she sees each week.

In 2010, Gerald Trottman was called to serve as the new worship pastor at Long Hollow. He brought with him his Music Conservatory training, years of experience playing/arranging/leading in New York, and a heart to see lives changed by the Gospel.
Gerald is a natural leader and entrepreneur. Whether it's teaching songwriting to underprivileged students on the weekends or producing albums of original music, Gerald brings focus and creativity to his work and relationships.
In the fall of 2005 Jason Underhill became the Children's Pastor at Long Hollow. Jason is all about creating fun and exciting environments that engage children with the story of salvation. In addition, Jason is passionate about ministering to families as a whole.
Jason roots for Vanderbilt Commodores, has a sweettooth for Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, and loves spending time with his wife and 5 kids. No matter what Jason faces, he finds strength and comfort in Psalm 23.
One of the defining characteristics of the Hendersonville campus is getting to hear the voice of Brooke Voland leading our church in worship. Since 2010, Brooke has been a staffed musician as well as a regular contributor to Long Hollow's overall creative ministry.
As one would expect, Brooke enjoys a wide variety of music. However, one of her favorite groups has always been the Evely Brothers (also her relatives!). Daily, she finds comfort in God's purpose for her life, as written in Psalm 89:1.
As Long Hollow continues to launch satellite campuses, the need for skilled supervision in audio and visual areas continues to increase. Starting in 2011, Tim has provided this much-needed leadership and expertise to make our satellite campus worship experiences the best they can be.
When he's not at Long Hollow, Tim is typically found fixing up a motorcycle or car. His favorite burger joint is Gabby's (in Nashville) and he prefers the music of classic crime. Proverbs 16:9 is always a good reminder to him that God is in control.
In early 2006, Julie Woodruff became the Women's Minister at Long Hollow. Each week she meets with women, leads bible studies, coordinates events, visits homes and hospitals, and encourages women to live in God's victory.
Julie is a regular reader of John Piper and A.W. Tozer, enjoys the music of Kari Jobe, and would prefer a great Mexican dish over any other! Julie is also keen on travelling and on game day, she can be found rooting for either the UT Vols or LSU Tigers.
Brian Zimmerman's first role at Long Hollow was an intern for the student ministry, helping to facilitate various media needs. Then, in 2011, his passion for video producing led him to join the video team, where he now creates custom content for weekly services and events.
From video styles to personal preference, Brian is fairly biased towards the "retro throwback" culture. He likes 80's-90's videogame systems, the band "M83", and knows a lot about various film trilogies of that era.
