Please pray for my dad, Burton Brown. He was diagnosed last week with lung cancer. We will learn about his treatment plan (chemo/radiation) and long term prognosis on May 16. Please pray for good news at that meeting as well as strength, peace and rest for my mom & dad. Selfishly we are praying for complete healing, but are submitting to God’s will for his life. Thanks for your prayers . . .

Please pray for Emily and her mother. Wednesday morning Emily’s mother was hit head on by a 19 year old driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel. The report is that every bone in her body is broken and she is on a ventilator. Emily’s father passed away many years ago and she and her mother have been very close. Also Emily’s sister had a baby last week and her bladder was accidently cut by the surgeon so she is unable to go and be with her mom and sister. Please pray for this family, for God’s perfect provision and to work it all out for His glory! Call upon the name of the Lord- He hears and answers our prayers!! Amen.

Luke, our 4 year old son, was diagnosed with a large blood clot in his brain and has been on treatment for the last 6 weeks. He will have an MRI on Thursday morning at 8:30 to see if the treatment has worked. Please pray the clot is gone and we can stop all treatment.

Please pray for my dad, Marvan. He was recently diagnosed with malignant melanoma with a tumor removed from his face and a possibility that it has spread to his lung. I have a good friend I work with who’s sister needs our prayers. Her name is Michele Akin. She and her husband of 23 years have 2 children. They are having marital issues and her husband has moved out of the family home. Michele has strong Christian faith but is hurting and so are the children.
