Long Hollow's weekday preschool.

Treasure Creek Weekday Preschool is a ministry of Long Hollow Baptist Church. Our commitment is to create a nurturing environment for preschoolers (infants through pre-k) to grow spiritually, socially, physically, and emotionally. While teaching preschoolers is our primary focus, we also desire to minister to parents and families.

Curriculum

Using the WEE Learn curriculum, we encourage children to make progress in the following areas:

• Learning to cope with a group situation-making and enjoying friends and sharing responsibility.
• Learning motor skills that are age-appropriate.
• Developing a degree of independence and self-confidence that is age appropriate.
• Developing social skills-giving and receiving, finding acceptable ways of solving problems, learning courteous and thoughtful behavior.
• Learning simple skills in math and science, developing language skills, developing an appreciation of literature, music, and art.
• Learning to appreciate home, school, church, and community, and to recognize God's plan for us to live happily in our world.

Tuition and Fees for 2011-2012

Registration Fee:	$65.00	- Due at registration for all students
Tuition (Two Days):	$72.00	- August Tuition due August 18th
	$142.00	- Due on the 10th of each month September – May
Tuition (1 Day*):	$36.00	- August Tuition due August 18th
	$78.00	- Due on the 10th of each month September – May
Computer Fee:	$16.00	- Due on the 10th of each month September-April for Pre-K students choosing computer classes.

*One day enrollment does not apply to Pre-K classes. Pre-K children must attend both days.

**Discounts will be given to parents with multiple children attending the two-day program based on the following: first child-full price, second child-$10.00 discount, third child-$71.00 discount.

Registration forms for the 2011-12 school year are currently available to be picked up daily in the church office or downloaded here.

Registrations will be accepted for the 2011-12 school year as long as there is availability in the classrooms. Call the Treasure Creek Office to find out if there is availability in your child's age group.

Hours of Operation

Tuesdays and Thursdays
9:00am - 2:00pm
August through May

Treasure Creek will be closed for inclement weather, illness, or other reason when Sumner County Schools are closed. Late openings and early dismissals will follow the following schedule: When Sumner County Schools are delayed one hour, Treasure Creek will open one hour late (10:00). When Sumner County Schools are delayed 2 or more hours, Treasure Creek will be closed. If Sumner County Schools dismiss early, Treasure Creek will dismiss at 12:00. If it is already past 12:00 when Sumner County Schools dismiss, Treasure Creek will dismiss immediately. This information can be obtained from any of the local network news stations.
