Age-Level Ministries

There are a number of ways you can serve in our age-level ministries. Whether you want to help out with preschoolers on Sunday Mornings, or lead a group of students in a connect group, we have a place where you can serve. Please contact us for more information about available opportunities.

Information Desk

The Information Desk provides our guests and members with general information about Long Hollow. The volunteers assist guests by answering questions, providing campus directions and giving current church events or meeting information. Information Desk volunteers that are well acquainted and knowledgeable is important, but the most important quality our volunteers provide is a warm, friendly smile, a helpful attitude, and a heart for helping people get acquainted with and connected at Long Hollow. Greeters

A warm greeting to all helps ready hearts for worship and Long Hollow is committed to providing this vital role in the host ministry. It is our goal to make sure every person that enters Long Hollow's doors receives a warm smile and friendly handshake. Our volunteer greeters have a cheerful, welcoming attitude and provide a great first impression to all. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Parking

The parking team at Long Hollow is truly a vital part of the host ministry at Long Hollow. With three worship/connect group hours, it is so important to keep the traffic flow running smoothly and efficiently. The parking team is the first impression our guests and members have of Long Hollow and each volunteer strives to serve with a friendly and courteous attitude to help welcome everyone on and off our campus. Hospitality

Long Hollow provides complimentary coffee and donuts on Sunday mornings. Hospitality volunteers serve, replenish and keep the hospitality stations clean and clutter free during their volunteer hour. As with all the host ministry volunteers, our hospitality team greets each person with a smile and friendly offer of help or information. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Ushers/Greeters

The usher ministry at Long Hollow serves during each worship service hour. The usher ministry is made up of men in our church to take up the offering each hour and help guest and members find a seat as the worship services begin. In addition, both men and women are invited to serve as a greeter at the worship center doors and give out the Sunday Paper to everyone that enters for worship and of course provide that warm and friendly greeting. Volunteer Central

Volunteer Central is just what it says it is... a central place for volunteers to volunteer! The host ministry is in constant motion and need of volunteers on a weekly basis and Volunteer Central is the place for our members to drop in and be given an assignment. In addition, Volunteer Central leaders are needed to assign people to those host areas of service. Many times, this will be the first place a new member will come to get plugged in and find out more information on how they can serve in the Host Ministry at Long Hollow.
