Long Hollow Women

Women's Ministry Image

Remember merry go 'rounds on the playground when you were growing up? Maybe you were the first to jump on and stand in the middle. Or maybe you slowly stepped on and clung to the rail. Or maybe you were the one watching others enjoy the ride, wishing you could jump on yourself.

Some things haven't changed. The world is spinning by and one of the greatest needs women have is to be connected. God has a personal plan for you to be connected not only with Him but with others. We want to walk alongside you as you go from where you are now to where God wants you to be – a fully devoted follower of Christ.

Perhaps you’ve been standing by watching and waiting to get involved. Now is the time. Long Hollow Women has lots of opportunities for you to experience the merry go 'round - so many places for you to jump on and join us.

This ministry is for YOU! Whatever you do, don’t just stand back and watch – jump on and grab hold of all God has for YOU.

Julie Woodruff
Julie Woodruff - Women's Minister

Julie Woodruff realized God's call to ministry as a college sophomore. Over the years that calling has taken the shape of youth ministry, pastor's wife, women's ministry, writing, Bible study, and conference leadership. Julie is a graduate of Louisiana College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

In addition to writing Bible study curriculum and contributing numerous articles to ministry leadership magazines, Julie has authored leader material and learning activities for discipleship resources written by T.W. Hunt and Beth Moore. Julie and her husband, Sid, have two children, Jordan and Lauren, who are students at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Julie's passion for women's ministry at Long Hollow is to help women find forgiveness and freedom in Christ, to be forged into the likeness of Christ, and to become a force for Christ in the world.
