Childcare is available for many studies below upon registration. Books and resources for all studies can be purchased at our Hendersonville Campus through Resource Central. Check back regularly for an ongoing list of women’s bible studies taking place throughout the year!
Chronological Bible Discipleship is designed to help you piece together the entire Bible story. It's never to late to start reading along chronologically with other Long Hollow Women! Keep up with the daily readings and then join other women for table discussion and an overview lesson from Lori Thomas. No homework required. Your only assignment is to read a passage daily and if you miss a day or even a week, you can jump right back in easily. If you haven’t started yet, jump right in this summer!
Time: May 8th is our last regular meeting. During the summer we will meet from 6:30-8:30 pm on May 22nd, May 29th, June 5th, July 10th, July 24th, August 7th and August 14th in Little Treehouse!

This small group is a place to be encouraged and build relationships through fellowship and bible study with other moms traveling a similar path. Join us as we grow in our relationship with God and learn of His love and provision for us in the midst of our unique circumstances.
We will go through the book Unlocking the Treasure by Bev Roozeboom. Has your child been given a heart-wrenching diagnosis such as bipolar disorder, Down syndrome, autism, Asperger syndrome, ADHD, or reactive attachment disorder? Was your child born with physical or intellectual disabilities? Then you're not just the mother of a special-needs child, you're a special-needs mom! If your child struggles with physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral difficulties and you find yourself disillusioned and disheartened, this study is for you. Written by a mom who is also walking this journey, Unlocking the Treasure offers hope and encouragement in the midst of daily battles and extraordinary challenges.

43% of women have abortion in their past. You are NOT alone~ Surrendering the Secret is a Bible study specifically designed to heal the heartbreak of abortion.
Since 1973 when Roe vs.Wade legalized abortion, over 50 million lives have been lost to abortion in U.S. Today, 43% of women in the U.S. will have had an abortion by age 45 (> 1 million abortions occur each year in the U.S.). The lies that we are given about abortion are the reasons why men & women continue to choose abortion over life for their unborn child. These lies must be exposed & the truth spoken in love of what abortion really is and what it does to families.
This spring, we will offer a post-abortion recovery Bible study called Surrendering the Secret by Pat Layton. With compassion, this study lovingly shows women that they can replace the enemy's lies with God's truths and find the healing and freedom He desires.

Let Priscilla Shirer prepare you by giving you a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit. Based on the life of Samuel, who first heard God’s voice while still a small boy, and packed with practical examples from Priscilla’s own life. He Speaks to Me speaks directly to the need to develop a richer prayer life and deeper, more intimate relationship with God, and to learn how to comfortably share their experience of God with others. Very well timed, given the trends.

As you follow this 12-week Bible study, you will learn just how important you are to God and how much He loves you. Each week you will knit a square, which correlates with the Bible story. The knitting techniques become more challenging as the weeks go by, but this project is as perfect for the beginning knitter as it is for the advanced. At the end of the 12 lessons, you will sew the squares together, making a beautiful story blanket. The vision is that these blankets be donated to area ministries (Open Door Pregnancy Center, Safe Haven, etc.)

A fun, colorful one-day workshop
Maybe you love to color. Maybe you hunger to know God better. Maybe you are a visual or kinesthetic learner, a distractible or impatient soul, or a word-weary pray-er. Perhaps you struggle with a short attention span, a restless body, or a tendency to live in your head. This new prayer form can take as little or as much time as you have or want to commit. Drawing is half the prayer. The other half is transporting the visual memories or actual images with you to pray throughout the day.
